Dear Attorney General Miller,
Respectfully, I must register my profound disappointment in your support for the Dakota Access Pipeline. It makes no sense to me — and many others I talk with — why you would sign on to an amicus brief defending a Texas corporation that trampled on private property rights to tear up 350 miles of Iowa farmland in order to build an oil pipeline that now exacerbates our worsening climate emergency and threatens our water. I’ve read both the amicus brief and the court ruling and I am baffled by your stance on this crucial matter. I welcome your response. Thank you.
